Càrn Mòr Dearg and Aonach Mòr, from the summit of the north-east buttress of Ben Nevis.
Càrn Mòr Dearg is the reddish-coloured ridge in the foreground. The main summit is in the centre of the photo. Along the ridge to the left is Càrn Dearg Meadhonach; further to the left is Càrn Beag Dearg.
Aonach Mòr is the flat-topped ridge in the middle distance behind Càrn Mòr Dearg. The loch in the background to the left is Loch Lochy, which is part of the Caledonian Canal.
The light-coloured peaks in the background to the right are the Grey Corries, a ridge of quartzite mountains running from from south-west to north-east.
